The new CVB 2011 MultiOS is very flexible with regards to the operating system used. 32-bit versions of Windows (XP, Vista, 7) as well as Windows 7 (64-bit) and Linux 64-bit (Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Mint) are supported. CVB 2011 MultiOS includes fundamental functionality for image acquisition, image access and display, as well as comprehensive algorithms for image analysis based on modern architecture.

CVB 2011 MultiOS can be extended with Point Cloud Management and thus offers the perfect base for the realisation of 3D applications supporting state-of-the art 3D cameras.

ressure relief specialist Elfab has further improved its Opti-Gard™ range, so that it can now offer the rupture disc as a single-disc solution. Opti-Gard™ was previously available in either the OPR or OPK design, depending on the burst pressure required. Simple enhancements made to that version have enabled Elfab to produce a single-disc design covering the full range of sizes and burst pressures, offering customers potential stock reductions of more than 65 per cent. Opti-Gard™ recently became the first ever rupture disc to be covered by a three-year warranty, demonstrating
the ongoing reliability of a range initially launched in 2003. Furthermore, the disc is still supplied with Flo-Tel™, Elfab’s non-invasive ATEX-approved burst detection, as standard. With tolerance of three per cent across a wide range of burst pressures and a 95 per cent operating ratio, Opti-Gard™ continues to offer the highest performance characteristics available for liquid, gas or vapour applications.
