Investment in the UK
Over the past 18 months, HARTING Ltd. has invested over £500,000 on upgrading its Northampton headquarters. In addition, addi- tional investment has been made in increasing the company’s employee resources to support the total solutions strategy for customers and in enhancing the infrastructure to improve the facilities and efficiencies of the Northampton building to support the successful initial accreditation to ISO 14001.
New developments in the UK headquarters include energy-efficient windows, lighting, gas heating and building management systems to upgrade the working environment for UK- based employees, and more improvements are planned for 2012 to increase and upgrade the manufacturing facilities on site.
“It was 21 years ago that we moved on to the Northampton site”, says HARTING’s UK Managing Director Peter Hannon: “With this investment, our facilities are now ready for the next 21 years!”.
