New current transducers
ow available exclusively in the UK from Aerco is a range of Hall-effect current transducers from New Zealand company, Raztec NZ Ltd, that provides a safe,

economically. Used extensively in many applications in the automotive, mobility, battery management, traction,
industrial, marine, energy and domestic

he new series of terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact is called PIT 1.5. This range of terminal blocks, which are just 3.5 mm wide, includes feed-through, multi-level and multi-connect terminals as well as protective conductor terminals and pluggable Combi versions. They can ferruled stranded conductors up to 1mm2 and rigid conductors up to 1.5mm2. The Push-In connection system allows conductors to be directly connected without any tools. As soon as the conductor is inserted,
the contact springs open
automatically. With insertion forces up to 50 percent lower than before, it has never been easier to plug in a conductor and establish a contact. The high contact forces exceed those stipulated by the relevant standards and ensure that high-quality, reliable conductor contacts are established.

arwin, the leading hi-rel connector and SMT board hardware manufacturer, has announced the addition of a wide range of compact jumper sockets / shunts to its popular 1.27mm pitch Archer pin header range. The jumpers can be used to eliminate switches from PCBs saving money and increasing reliability. The product range includes closed top sockets with and without handles; both styles are end stackable, devices with handles are also side stackable. A choice of bright colours – blue, black and red – enables manufacturing flexibility and simplifies programming if varying models within a product family, for example, motherboards with different processor options, are being produced at the same time. Available ex-stock for rapid delivery, Archer jumper shunts/sockets are ideally-suited to applications including test & measurement, robotics, marine, industrial, handheld and medical equipment
