New upgraded Appello high output voice signalling sounders

E

2S has introduced new versions of its all-digital Appello combined voice signalling and tone sounders that allow four different 30 second long voice, music or sound messages to be recorded and replayed at CD quality, improving clarity and intelligibility. The Appello can be configured to replay just the recorded messages or the content can be alternated with one of the 45 alarm tones embedded in the unit. The four alarm stages are remotely selectable and the message playback and the alarm tones have independent volume controls, enabling the outputs to be fine-tuned to the installed location. The Appello is available in three different sizes: the square A105N with 101dB(A) voice and 112dB(A) tone outputs, the square A121 with 112dB(A) voice and 126dB(A) tone outputs; it is also available as the MV121 horn unit with 112dB(A) voice and 126dB(A) tone outputs.

Availability is in 4 popular sizes suitably pre-drilled for up to four 22.5mm push buttons, alternatively plain lids can be specified. Rated to IP69 these boxes present the ideal solution where hygiene and corrosive factors are apparent. IP69 ensures protection from dust and allows close range high pressure wash down applications - an essential requirement in food processing areas. The range is manufactured from 1.2mm grade 304L stainless steel [316L is available on request], with captive lid screws thread into sealed bushes outside the enclosure aperture and earthing points on the body and lid. Mounting can be from inside the box or by optional wall mounting brackets and fixing pods allow the use of din rails or mounting plates.

Mode Stripping SMA Cables F

Advertorial

iberguide’s new line of high power mode stripping SMA cable assemblies provides a higher power alternative to traditional laser delivery cables for high power laser welding, marking, cutting and drilling equipment. The assemblies have also proven effective for use as diode laser pigtails in diode pumped solid state (DPSS) systems. Most similar products are unable to operate above 150W (200µm core) without active water cooling. Fiberguide’s new line is designed to handle more power and survive at higher temperatures with a passive, air-cooled design. An integrated mode stripper

dissipates up to 25W of power from the cladding, ensuring a clean output and boosting power handling capacities to 100W (100µm core), 250W (200µm core) or 350W (400µm core), depending on system conditions. Cables contain all silica fiber and are available with 100µm, 200µm and 400µm cores for easy integration into existing systems.

New large digit loop powered indicators B

EKA have launched their fourth generation loop powered 4/20mA indicators featuring larger four and five digit displays,

bargraphs, extended operating

temperatures plus economic advantages. These robust IP 66 field and panel mounting indicators have more standard features than the previous models, together with optional alarms and a backlight that may be loop or separately powered.

Panel indicators have a novel

internal scale card, which may easily be changed on-site without dismantling the instrument, showing the units of measurement through a window adjacent to the display. All models are available with ATEX and IECEx gas & dust certification; for applications in Zone 2 or 22, field mounting indicators with Type nA and Ex tc approval permit installation without the need for Zener barriers or galvanic isolators. Indicators are supplied with free customer specified calibration, scale and tag marking and have a three year guarantee.

Marking System for Simple and Fast Labeling

he Thermomark Line is the new printing system from Phoenix Contact to mark terminals, cables, conductors, as well as equipment. It comprises of two thermal transfer printers and a laptop on which the Clip Project marking software is installed. The Thermomark Card printer prints all plastic labels in both card and mat formats. The Thermomark Roll version processes labels and heat shrink tubing in specific formats or endless rolls. It takes only 8 seconds to print each marking card. Both printers set themselves apart as a result of the simple operating concept. Plain text messages are output on the touch screen, which also accepts direct entries from the user. Large housing covers that can be opened on the sides make it easy to change the ink ribbon and insert the rolls of material. The marking material in the card and mat format is directly inserted through a loading slot that can be opened outward. The integrated material detection avoids incorrect printing if the inserted material does not match the print data.
