COMMS PEOPLE Reynolds snapped up


SERVASSURE has swooped on Annette Reynolds who now fills the role of Channels Partner Manager. Reynolds has worked within the telecoms industry for over 20 years, including a ten year stint in direct sales within the reseller community before she moved into channel sales in 2000. Working for distributor Westcon, Reynolds was involved in establishing the new Nortel Business. Since 2007, she has worked with IT security distributor Sphinx, which became part of ArrowECS last year, where she headed up the VAD’s Convergence Business. In her new


role at Servassure Reynolds will be responsible for helping to develop new channel relationships as well as advancing the growth aspirations of existing channel partners. She commented: “Having worked within the channel and then with the channel for over 20 years I have gained a clear understanding of what is important to partners, and I look forward to applying this knowledge to my role at Servassure.”


Daisy appoints boss of Indirect


Andrew Wilson


DAISY Group has named Andrew Wilson as Head of Indirect Sales. He boasts more than ten years experience in the IT and communications market and has most recently worked as a sales director in IT security. His expertise in security, data and communications channels have given him a rounded view of how to


successfully deliver multi-faceted channel models. Wilson said: “Having met several members of the senior management team, I am impressed by the strategic direction of the business. I have a number of plans regarding the growth of Indirect. So far I have discovered a culture of unity and good old fashioned hard work.” Wilson has been brought on board at Daisy to automate and grow its current indirect model. His role will involve streamlining processes, creating and launching a partner portal and introducing new product sets to different channel verticals. “The aim is to show significant growth on what is a strong foundation,” added Wilson.


Remark enlists IT head honcho

telecommunications service for 25 years and Montgomery joins the company (an accredited Microsoft Small Business Specialist) at a time when the efficiency of ICT systems has come into sharper focus. “It’s not always a case of recommending a whole new system,” stated Montgomery. “We are conscious of the current financial climate and as a matter of course would look at best use of existing equipment if viable.”


CHANNEL Telecom has recruited Peter Cresswell as Operations Manager with a remit to provide support and technical expertise to the firm’s channel partner community. Previously he was a Technical Support Manager for Union Street. Clifford Norton, Managing Director, said: “We are taking on new partners at a rapid rate and need to ensure that we have competence in depth to support those channel partners.”


Comstor drafts in new recruits


COMSTOR has made two key hires in support of new initiatives in the areas of Cisco telepresence and


datacenter technologies. Jonathan Phillips has been recruited as a Product Manager for Cisco Telepresence, while Richard Rees- Jones takes the role of Product Manager

Syed has been in the technology industry since the start of his career having worked at CI-net in Kidlington, Acenseo based in Reading and Network Technology Systems in Witney.
