CYCE Foulweather Bluff October 1


CYCE invites you to its 31st annual


Foulweather Bluff Race. Yachts with a PHRF rating of 180 and faster compete in the 26 mile feature course to the Foulweather Bluff buoy and return to Edmonds via the Scatchet Head buoy. Yachts with a PHRF of 181 or slower and all boats entering the NFS division will race the 18 mile course to a temporary buoy off Pilot Point, also returning to Edmonds via the Scatchet Head buoy. The first division will start at 10:00 am, reverse starting sequence, with multi- hulls in the last start. Overnight moorage is available at


the Port of Edmonds Marina for boats arriving the day before the race and/or staying overnight the day of the race. Sailing Championship October 1-2 & 8-9


Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle is


pleased again to invite all local sailboat racers to the region's premiere fall regatta, the Puget Sound Sailing Championships! Small boats sail October 1-2, Large Boats sail October 8-9. The Small Boat weekend is open to one design dinghy/ catamaran fleets and one design light displacement keelboats 24 feet LOA or less, and the Large Boat weekend is open to boats with valid PHRF ratings that meet PIYA Cat III requirements and one design keelboats 24 feet LOA or over. This event offers top-notch buoy racing out of Shilshole Bay. Come for the sailing and party the night away at the clubhouse Saturday night. Vic-Maui Speaker Series October 5

Series is our Seattle-area presentation, at 7:00 pm at Hale's Ales Brewery & Pub, Seattle. Everyone is welcome - skippers, owners, crew and just anyone interested in finding out more about Vic-Maui. We'll provide some appetizers and there will be a cash bar. The scheduled speakers are: David


Sutcliffe, Vic-Maui Chairman and skipper of Beneteau First 47.7 Kinetic; and Scott Burbank, skipper of Riptide 35 Terremoto!. You'll hear some exciting stories, as well as from Susan Burbank, who also has a gripping tale to tell of her ride on Terremoto! in Vic-Maui 2010.
