Sponsored by: 48° North Plus 10° Last Sunday was a beautiful day in Southeast Alaska.
We took advantage of the sun and headed out on our Macgregor 26X, Mental Floss, for a day of sailing. While enjoying some time in the sun my wife caught me reading the latest issue of 48° North. Unfortunately, Fall is quickly approaching here at 58° North, so our remaining sailing days are numbered. But, when I put the boat away for the season, I will at least have some great reading each month. Take care and smooth sailing to you and the rest of the
folks at 48° North.

Recipes for a Non-Sailor
I recently learned that my wife, Janis, who has no particular interest in sailing, reads your magazine every month. She collects the recipes. (Our small kitchen has a galley-like feel to it.) A couple of weeks ago she made the spaghetti sauce. Excellent!
