OFF THE RECORD

ON YOUR BIKE

Not wanting to suffer the in-flight meal a second time, NCsoft’s Cat Channon and Gamesradar’s Nathan Irvine decided to take a different route home from this year’s Gamescom – by bike. The pair made the 350- mile journey from Cologne to Brighton in under 75 hours. So far they’ve raised

£1,471 for GamesAid. If you want to help them reach their target of £2,000, head on over to www.justgiving.com/ Catherine-Channon.

We discuss how the show has moved from Islington’s bijou Design Centre to Olympia and introduced new rules – such as the restriction that no stand should be taller than Phil Harrison or wider than Garry Williams.
