HIT MARKETING
WE SING has become a popular and fast-growing karaoke franchise on Wii, with close to 1m units sold in the series to date. Following the three previous releases, We Sing, We Sing Encore and We Sing Robbie Williams– the publisher is now bringing We Sing UK Hitsto retail, which contains big British tunes from artists such as Coldplay and Queen.
It’s ideal for casual players and fans of titles such as Zumba Fitness and Just Dance. Like other games in the series, We Sing UK Hitslets the player grab a microphone and sing along to songs either by themselves or with up to three others. Their vocals are rated at the end of each track and those who closely sing in tune and in time are awarded the most points. The title boasts 40 songs including Blur’s ‘Girls and Boys’, McFly’s ‘5 Colours in Her Hair’ and more (see ‘Top of the Tracks’).Every track has its own music video playing in the background while the user sings along to it.
HITTING THE HIGH NOTES Each song has a number of difficult- to-reach Star Notes, which distribute bonus points to those who hit them.
