VIBRATORY EQUIPMENT STEDI-FLO Vibratory Pan Feeder

Invicta Vibrator Seminars in South Africa

Zest Electric Motors (PTY) Limited was appointed as the distributor of Invicta vibrators for South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa in September 2008.

Since then Invicta has collaborated with Zest at major exhibitions and in site visits throughout the region, and recently supported a series of technical seminars in the industrial centres of Rustenburg, Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg. The speakers provided by Invicta were

Philip Turley, Technical Director; Steve Mann, Electrical Applications Manager and Mike Caldwell, Sales Manager. The organisation of the seminars was carried out by Zest from its head office in Johannesburg with significant contributions being made by Zest’s Regional Managers. Invitations were extended to a variety of interested parties including OEMs, end users, re-winders and consultants as well as to Zest personnel.

The topics discussed covered all aspects of the electrical and mechanical design of a modern, durable range of industrial vibrators suitable for the 21st century. Also covered was their selection and application to feeders, screens and hoppers handling minerals and other materials in the various industries to be found in South Africa. Common problems were identified, and assembly, operation, fault finding in the field, maintenance and after-sales support were fully discussed. Feed back from the delegates indicated that the seminars were worthwhile and informative, and confirmed the commitment of both Zest and Invicta to the area. The provision of training, engineering and material support to customers is a corner-stone of Zest’s trading policy, and together with Invicta the company is firmly confident of strong growth over the coming years.
