This year, we offer four World Cruises, and we introduce one of our larger ships to the experience – Azura which will undertake her Maiden World Cruise in 2013. Her scale affords passengers a wonderful array of experiences, from an expansive spa, to a choice of restaurants, bars and countless opportunities to be entertained – she really will make the perfect World Cruise companion.
Also a fi rst for 2013 is the opportunity to choose from two South American cruises, with Adonia and Arcadia – this will be the fi rst year Arcadia has sailed to explore this continent. These are offered alongside our full world circumnavigation with seasoned world cruise master Aurora and a Grand Odyssey to Australia and the Far East with newcomer Azura.
We also introduce our ‘Boomerang’ World Cruises – a particularly appealing concept to those who want to enjoy a full world cruise but wish to stay a little longer in Australia exploring or visiting family and friends. You can sail out to Australia on Aurora, for example, and enjoy a 3 night stay in Sydney before embarking Azura for the journey home. And even with a long cruising history we’re still managing to discover new ports, so this year Aurora visits Sokhna in Egypt for the fi rst time and Adonia is small enough to sail into the pretty Caribbean Island paradise of Virgin Gorda.
If this is your fi rst insight into the world of P&O Cruises, I do hope you enjoy exploring these pages. They contain our full world cruises from 85 nights to 110 nights, as well as our cruises to and from Australia and New Zealand – such as the well-established cruises from Southampton to Sydney, or Auckland to Southampton. In addition to the holidays detailed inside, you’ll fi nd articles dedicated to describing life on board. Our ship comparison guide can be found on pages 14 –15; a great way to compare facilities. But, rest assured, whichever ship you choose, you will enjoy that ‘P&Oness’ that ensures you will discover a different world.
