Ways to save The fares in this brochure are per adult and are shown with the Early Booking Savings deducted. These savings apply to bookings made before 30 November 2011. Savings apply to the cruise only portion of fl y-cruises.

Early Booking Savings The holidays within this brochure benefi t from early booking savings, giving you the opportunity to save from £550 per couple on a 40 night cruise to £1,600 per couple on a 110 night full World Cruise (amounts shown are based on the lowest grade inside cabins and are subject to availability). The Early Booking Savings may be reduced or be withdrawn at any time. As our Early Booking Savings are likely to reduce throughout the life of this brochure and since brochure fares may rise in subsequent editions, it really does pay to book early. Please note that the Early Booking Savings only apply to the cruise holidays as detailed on the itinerary pages of the brochure. Early Booking Savings do not apply to infant fares or holiday package options.

Family Savers If you’re travelling with children or teenagers our Family Savers on Aurora or Azura offer generous reductions utilising the extra beds that are contained in a number of cabins. In twin cabins these extra beds are upper pullman berths (except for Aurora grades OA, KA, JB, IA and IB where they are sofa beds) and in deluxe cabins, superior deluxe cabins, mini-suites and suites these are sofa beds. To calculate the family fare, the fi rst two occupants pay the adult fare for the grade concerned minus the Early Booking Savings (where applicable), then deduct the Family Savers reduction of 75% for a child/teenager (aged 2-16). This does not apply to AE grade Suites on Azura, which are based on 4 full paying adult passengers. If you are taking a holiday package add-on then add this amount to your Family Savers fare. Aurora and Azura have a number of cabins that can accommodate a travel cot for an infant aged over 6 months and under 2 years. In these cases you pay £10 per cruise night, regardless of your chosen cabin grade.

There are limited infant/child and teen places available on all cruises. It is advisable to book as soon as possible if intending to take advantage of the Family Savers offer, as only a limited number of these extra beds are available for use by children on each cruise. Please note Family Savers are not available on the fi rst two occupants or on single occupancy, and Family Savers do not apply on Adonia or Arcadia – our ships exclusively for adults.

Share Savers

A number of cabins contain extra beds and if three or four adults book as a party and share one of these cabins, then our Share Savers can save you money. In twin cabins these extra beds are upper pullman berths or sofa beds. You’ll fi nd further details in the deck plans (pages 110-133). An asterisk on the deck

134 WORLD CRUISES 2013

plans shows the grades at which some cabins have extra beds. The fi rst two adults pay the adult fare and for the third and fourth person in an extra bed you deduct the Share Savers reduction of 60% after the Early Booking Savings have been deducted from the fare for the grade concerned. If you are taking our holiday package add-on you need to add this additional amount to the Share Savers fare. It is, however, advisable to book early, as only a limited number of these extra beds will be available for sale on each cruise.

Please note that only a limited number of cabins will be available for Family Savers and Share Savers. Once this number has been reached Family and Share Savers will still be possible but at a higher fare or reduced level of saving.

Group Savers For details of special arrangements we can provide for groups of all types – from clubs and associations to corporate incentives and conferences – see your travel agent or call us for more information.

On board spending money Book any holiday from this brochure and you can enjoy fantastic on board spending money, the amount of which varies by cabin type and cruise duration. You could receive on board spending money of £80 per person for an inside cabin, and up to £1100 per person if you book a suite. This can be spent on shore excursions, drinks, in the spa or in the shops. On board spending money applies to the fi rst two passengers sharing a cabin. It is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The amount of on board spending money may vary between brochure editions.

We are also able to offer hotel stays in selected cities before or after your cruise, see pages 94 - 97 for full details. We’d recommend that you take the fl y-cruise option to ensure that you arrive at the ship on time and get home as promptly as possible. We’ve used our expertise to make our fl y-cruises as effi cient and competitive as possible, but we’ve left you the freedom to make your own arrangements if you prefer. Please note that you can only opt for the holiday package options if you take our recommended fl y- cruise option. If you do not take the fl y-cruise option, any fl ights you take will not form part of the package provided by us and will not be covered by our ATOL protection. You will also need to ensure that you leave suffi cient time in each case to reach the ship at least 2 hours before the departure time stated on your tickets. Please note that the Early Booking Savings do not apply to holiday package add-ons. The holiday package add- on option is subject to availability and fl ight dates and prices may change from those shown. Please see the notes on page 70-71 which apply to all fl ights.

Families

Restrictions on where children can go on board We would ask parents and/or guardians to remember that there are other passengers on board and for this reason a few of the lounges and public rooms are ‘out of bounds’ to passengers under 16. Please note that passengers under the age of 18 must travel with a parent or companion aged 18 or over. We are unable to carry babies under the age of one year.

Children in swimming nappies are not allowed to use the main pools but may use the paddling pools under the supervision of their parents or guardian. We also ask parents and guardians to note that children under 16 must not be left unaccompanied on the ship whilst at a port of call.

Money Matters
