Since 1990 House has served in a number of roles across various parts of the business including SCEI (marketing and communications) and SCEA (VP of marketing).
In 2005 he was made the CMO of Sony Corporation and in 2009 he became president and CEO of SCEE.

ROVIO l The Angry Birds developer has appointed DAVID MAISEL as a special advisor.
He previously held several roles at Marvel, including chairman of Marvel Studios, the self-financed film firm behind Iron Man, Thor and the other Avengerfilms. Maisel also led the sale of Marvel Entertainment to Disney.
At Rovio, he will help build the company’s entertainment strategy and create avenues to new areas in entertainment. He also plans to serve as executive producer for future Angry Birdsmovies. “I’m very honoured and excited to join Rovio, and my goal is to help unleash its great potential,” said Maisel. “Rovio has already had amazing success and established a great brand with Angry Birds. The business model, intellectual properties and the franchise potential of Angry Birdsgive Rovio the most exciting prospects I have seen in the entertainment business since Marvel in 2003.”
REBELPLAY l LEO CUBBIN and PHIL GASKELL have co-founded an independent digital games publisher, both taking on the role of director. Cubbin previously spent six years working at
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe as a senior producer. He has also worked for Codemasters and development studio
Psygnosis, which later became SCE Studio Liverpool. Meanwhile, Gaskell started his career as an assistant QA manager for SCEE. He also held senior producer roles on several titles at SCEE, where he worked for almost five years. He spent two years at Psygnosis too.
