As I write we’re having our offi ce air con unit serviced, a sure indicator that Summer is finally here so with this in mind, this issue of Irish Beauty has a decidedly Summery theme.

There are three key beauty issues that most of your clients will be stressing themselves out about this season: their figure, hair removal and tanning, and so we’re tackling these head-on. We’ll help you choose between offering waxing, sugaring or threading as your
preferred hair removal technique, then tone up your clients’ wobbly bits with vibration therapy.
Finally, complete the beach-ready look with a gorgeous glow, as we look not only at spray tan techniques but also organic tanning products.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to wish our Deputy Editor Claire well as she leaves the IB office to have her first baby.
I’m sure I speak for the whole of the team when I say we’ll miss her but are exceptionally excited about the forthcoming arrival – we’ve never had an Irish Beauty baby before! We’ll keep you posted on baby’s progress, and I look forward to Claire returning after her maternity leave.
