Flair Hair & Beauty Supplies: Celebrating 35 years of excellence

In the beginning

Flair was founded by Galway man Patrick Donnellan, and began trading in the summer of 1974 in Old Kilmainham Road, Dublin 8. Today Flair has four stores located in Dublin’ Finglas, Kilmainham, Naas and Galway, plus a separate distribution warehouse located in Naas to service their growing mail order and web shop www.fl air.ie.

He later married Anne Parletti who was also a hairdresser, and they went on to open three salons together. This gave Patrick the insight into the industry and helped him to understand the salon business.

Gaining more experience within his fi eld, Patrick started working for a hair care manufacturer in the late 1960’s which prompted him to open another company of his own - Flair Industries Ltd. Flair Industries manufactured all types of hair care preparations, and eventually
