Elite partners sign up to Uniworld club


UNIWORLD Communications has formed an Elite Channel Partner club for its top perform- ing partners and dealers. The club already has 15 members, earning their places by hitting above-target sales of Uniworld’s products, and also committing to continue placing high levels of business. To mark the club’s formation Nine staged a meeting at the Goodwood Motor Race Circuit near Chichester, Hampshire. Hosted by David Thorn, Head of Channel for Uniworld, the get-together gave members an early look at new data ser- vices and mobile packages the company is due to launch. “The purpose of our new Elite Channel Partner club is to

incentivise and reward our top CPs to stay loyal. In return we offer them a package of benefits and support functions that will help them get to market more effectively,” said Thorn. Uniworld presented its six month roadmap of sales and marketing activity and intro- duced new marketing surgeries, a series of one-to-one meetings.


The team had an opportu- nity to drive some classic and performance cars around the Goodwood race track, includ- ing a Cobra, Aston Martin DB4, Porche and Ferrari. Finally the club members showed their competitive edge in a closely run go-kart race on the circuit. Thorn added: “The motor racing was the kind of experi- ence that our guests will never forget, with a great choice of cars and expert tuition.” Richard Reid, Director of Amillan, an attendee, comment- ed: “This was a great start to the club, but it’s also about estab- lishing a community to share market experiences and selling skills to make the telecoms sales process easier for everyone.”


Speakerbus boosts dealer board


SPEAKERBUS has enhanced its i turret dealer board enabling brokers and commodities trad- ers to take advantage of 24 dynamic speaker channels with a new speaker expansion mod- ule (iE801).


Among the notable aspects of the speaker expansion mod- ule include integral speaker pagination enabling support for


up to 96 user defined speaker channels. This facilitates instant access and automatic reconnect to multiple clients, trading part- ners and market new.


Also new is the ability to answer calls directly on the speaker channels. No additional key presses guarantee quick multiple-party access to clients and counter-parties.


Independent volume con- trols per speaker channel ensure an instant flow of informa- tion across multiple channels improving workflow efficiency. With the introduction of the speaker expansion module, i turret dealer board has also completed compliant certifica- tion with Avaya Aura Session Manager.
