Xtreme enters new phase of expansion

Westhill-based firm include the installation of cabling and IT systems at a new MOD site, as well as fibre optic cabling work for Orkney Islands Council. Xtreme will also install the network infrastructure in new offshore accommodation mod- ules currently under construc- tion in Aberdeen.

Nimans to go hosted

O-bit Telecom to retain branding and ethos
O-BIT Telecom is to continue trading under its own brand despite plans for its integration into Daisy Wholesale.
O-bit was acquired by Daisy in February this year but the Bucks-based telco will now operate as a standalone busi- ness enabling it to maintain its channel model, business values, entrepreneurism and flexibility.
O-bit Telecom’s CEO Dave Breith commented: “While compiling the strategic review of the new Daisy partnership it became apparent how much the dynamism and our great cus- tomer relations are appreciated by the industry.

Grilli hands over reins
FCS Chairman Adrian Grilli has handed over the reins to Justin Orde, who is supported by new Deputy Chairman Dave Dadds. The transition followed FCS’ 30th anniversary event on June 16th which saw Grilli present an overview of the industry. “We have seen another 12 months of rapid change over which we have little control,” he said. “We must rise to these new challenges or die.” Grilli noted that FCS’ role to represent members and interact with government and regulators

Oak has passed its latest International Quality Standard ISO9001:2008 assessment with flying colours, achieving a 100% pass mark. A quality assessment over two days put the Oak Quality Management System through its paces while various company departments were examined and staff members tested to confirm compliance.
ScanSource’ European arm has expanded its product line with the addition of AudioCodes, a provider of VoIP technologies and voice network products. The move extends the partnership in North America to Europe giving Germany-based resellers access to the product range in the first phase of the roll out.
