35th Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival Celebrates “Craftsmanship” September 9-11
Three hundred wooden boats of all

Lin & Larry Pardey will be on hand
with some of their most popular topics: The Compelling Power of Adventure and 16 Ways to Ensure Your Partner Shares Your Cruising Dream as well as two special evening events Storm Tactics and The Unstoppable Cruising Boats - from nuts and bolts to a real budget. The Pardey's will be on hand daily to talk to people, sign their books and answer questions. Nigel Calder returns to Wooden
Boat Festival with daily talks at the NW Maritime Center including Ensuring a Troublefree Diesel; Strengths and
Weakness of Electronic Navigation and Anchoring without Anguish! Nigel will also present the Wooden Boat Festival Thursday Symposium: The Energy Efficient Boat: to what extent can new technologies dramatically improve efficiency, on Thursday, September 8 from 1:00-4:00.
