Intrinsic sets scene for stage of growth
INTRINSIC Technology has kicked off a recruitment drive in preparation for the next stage of the company’s growth. The firm has already taken
on 20 consultants and engi- neers this year and has revealed fresh plans to increase the head- count by another 30 over the next six months.
Intrinsic has seen significant growth in the last 12 months, raising turnover by 35% to £28m in the financial year end- ing 30th November 2010. The company also chalked up 117% profit growth, with operating profits reaching £2.5m. The recent acquisition of Dataplex Systems has added a further £10m to Intrinsic’s top line. To realise the ambitious
target of 40% organic growth, Intrinsic Technology is recruit- ing consultants and engineers to deliver work in desktop virtuali- sation, cloud and unified com- munications, across England, Wales and Scotland.

Pillar Data in channel campaign
THE man at the centre of Pillar Data’s latest channel push has refreshed the company’s 2011 sales strategy in north- ern Europe and placed reseller empowerment at the top of his business agenda.

A TEAM of 44 Zen Internet employees ran the Bupa Great Manchester Run on 15th May to raise money for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, an organisation that provides palliative care for adults with non- curable life threatening illnesses in a homely environment. “This is an important charity event for Zen. We have built up an excellent relationship with Dr Kershaw’s through in-house events, with all proceeds going to this charity,” said Andrew Saunders, Head of Product Management and Marketing. Zen raised over £4,500 from last year’s run and is aiming to match or exceed this figure in 2011.
