As data centres are constantly evolving, all cabling systems must accommodate moves, adds, changes and upgrades. Often these variations will need to be carried out during operational periods, and therefore need to be completed within the shortest possible time frame. Wherever possible, clients will prefer to use their in-house technicians to carry out these changes, rather than call in their specialist contractor on each occasion. To meet these demands, Datwyler offers the Modular High-Density (MHD) distribution system in addition to its pre-terminated copper and fi bre optic multiple cables for high performance and fl exible cabling in server rooms and data centres, enabling both pre-terminated copper and fi bre optic connections to be contained within a modular high density patching system. The MHD system enables a particularly high packing density in the distributor housings. The system consists of two housing variants of one and three height units, available in stainless steel or with black lacquering, which are equipped with distribution boxes to terminate the comparatively thin multiple cables.
The copper distribution boxes provide RJ-45 ports at the front and optionally a Telco adaptor or LSA-plus contacts at the rear. For further information visit:
