Blantyre based Advance Construction Scotland has purchased five Volvo EC55C compact excavators for the first time for its plant fleet based on sound reputation and strong third party references.
Joining a mixed fleet of sixty machines these are the first Volvo products to be purchased by Advance Construction Scotland. “Up until now we tended to hire in this size of machine which was invariably a Volvo, so we already had a feel for the Volvo product,” commented Advance Construction’s plant manager Gareth Mollan. “Based on the reputation Volvo has for quality and reliability and endorsing this with other third party references, we decided to make the investment and purchase the machines.”
The five EC55C’s are incremental to Advance Construction’s fleet and are proving to be the ideal size of machine – well adapted for working on the typical sites the company is involved in where space is a premium but yet good reach and all round performance
