This very innovative product has proved to be a huge success since its launch in 2005, with over 340,000 Wealth Protection Policies, representing the equivalent of 1.4 million single insurance contracts, being taken out.


But always looking to improve its offering, in September 2010 AachenMünchener introduced the next generation Wealth Protection Policy, including even more attractive customer benefits.


One unique selling proposition is the elimination of nearly all limits of indemnity and cover. This means that former limits, for example in household insurance, do not exist any longer except for private valuables. The only elements influencing the insurance premium are the address and the size of the flat or house. Customers are always adequately insured and underinsurance is simply impossible! When it comes to personal liability, the limit for claims is €15 million, without any individual policy being limited.


What makes the Wealth Protection Policy such an innovative and exceptional product, is that it is comprehensive, all-inclusive and easy to understand.


It is also extremely convenient – information such as the address or size of property only needs to be filled in once and a holistic insurance proposal can be offered within a couple of clicks.


First reactions from the insurance trade press show that these amendments to the Wealth Protection Policy are real differentiators from the competition. Franke & Bornberg, a German insurance rating agency, awarded the Wealth Protection Policy – especially the household and private liability part – their top mark ‘FFF’.


Not only is the new Wealth Protection Policy innovative, but its marketing is too.
