Creating demand for products Migdal takes a number of initiatives to promote their products and services through agents:
Direct sale through the agent’s Migdal website – This provides the agent with new prospects interested in motor or travel insurance, while the production is directly registered in the name of the agent, who is immediately notified upon the purchase of a policy. This service is free of charge.
Newsletter to customers – Migdal allows each insurance agent to enter its agent portal and create, within minutes, his or her own html mailing, from a number of existing templates and subject matters. The free mailings do not carry Migdal branding and can be sent to all customers.
Online Agent Locator – Another internet trend that Migdal has identified is the increase in searches for insurance agents on the web. Further research has shown that many clients begin their search for information about insurance on the web, even though they may eventually purchase their policy through an agent. Migdal decided to take advantage of this trend and help promote its agents by launching a new Online Agent Locator that would be accessible from search engines such as Google and Migdal’s own website, the main objective being to provide Migdal agents with a marketing and branding tool through a personal web page for each Migdal agent. Each month, this generates hundreds of free leads for agents, the majority being prospective new customers.
