The easiest place to locate the brake wire (Green +) is in the driver’s side harness that runs from the front to the back.

Remove the steering wheel shroud by first unscrewing (2) Phillips head screws. Ac- cess can be gained by turning the steering wheel 90 degrees in both directions.

Drop the lower dash panel, remove the coin tray, the (2) screws on the side of the panel and the (2) screws at the bottom of the panel.


If you’re working on a late- model vehicle, get credit for your research and help other install- ers at the same time! Here’s what to do:

Now, remove the (4) 10mm bolts that hold the lower dash brace in place. 6 7


The parking light wire (Pink -) can be found in the gray harness at the Body Control Module (BCM). The BCM is lo- cated to the right of the gas pedal under the center of the dash.


All the main power connects can be made at the vehicle’s main ignition har- ness. Easiest access to these wire can be made by unplugging the harness from the ignition switch: 12V Constant - Green (+); 12V Ignition 1 - Pink (+); 12V Ignition 2 - Orange (+); 12V Accessory - Blue (+); Starter - Yellow (+)
