What’s Around the

At the Detroit Auto Show, carmakers try to stay up with portable integration, but aren’t quite there yet.

January has always been one of my favorite times of year, for a lot of different reasons. It’s time for a fresh start, a new beginning and a re-energized charge for the upcoming year. And what’s even better than that? Well, a buffet of new and refreshed cars in the heart of Detroit of course! Cruising through the show this year was more interesting than the last couple of years, mostly due to a more focused industry that seems to have turned a corner and is back on track to better sales again. Two years ago, it felt pretty shaky, almost like people weren’t sure what was going to happen, and last year had a stale, almost lifeless feel to it. The gloom seems to be primarily gone now and there are a few dozen cars that are either brand new or significantly refreshed that you will be seeing in your shops soon.
