Accele Electronics At the 2011 International CES, Accele


Electronics showed a headrest monitor package, the ZHD700, and a new Blue- tooth-enabled rear-view mirror system, the RVM430BT. The rear-view mirror comes in two mod- els: a clip-on version and a replacement model, and provides Bluetooth hands- free calling via the embedded module (a non-Bluetooth rear-view mirror is also available, according to the company). The mirror features two video inputs, an ex- ternal microphone and shows caller ID on the LCD screen in the mirror. The company’s ZHD700 headrest monitor package comes with two 7-inch monitors, two DVD systems and three different headrest skins (black, gray and tan) for customization. The system also features a wireless FM transmitter, and a front USB input and SD card slot on each monitor.

The company introduced a to- tal of three models that offer Pandora connectivity with a Pandora-equipped iPhone: the previously mentioned INA- W910 AVN System, the CDE-123 and CDE-122 single-DIN units; and three with SiriusXM Direct Connect, the INA-


W910 and CDE-123 and the CDE-124. Alpine also introduced its new X-Power small footprint, all-digital am-


plifiers that use technology from the company’s PDX amps, new Type-R and Type-S speaker lineups, and new 8-inch Type-R subwoofers. Its new PXA-H800 Imprint audio processor is designed to provide factory audio system integration using the new RUX-C800 in-dash controller for pro- gramming. In a new line of dash kits, Alpine introduced kits for installing the company’s double-DIN source units into a 2011-and-newer Toyota Si- enna and a 2010-and-newer Chevy Camaro. The company said it plans applications for other vehicle models in the future.
