med a U.S. subsidiary operation, Silicon Biosystems, Inc., to be headquartered in San Diego, California. The newly formed business will focus on commercial operations and the development of the North Ameri- can research and clinical diagnostics markets for the company’s DEPArray™ technology platform.

services, announced the ability to ship its Model 655 (single-chamber) or Model 665 (dual-chamber) hot filament CVD diamond reactors with an inte- grated power supply that complies with local 380V three-phase electrical systems. USS MicroTec (GER: SMH), a leading supplier of equipment and process solutions for the semi-
conductor industry and related markets, announced a strategic collaboration with the Cornell NanoScale Science & Technology Facility (CNF), a universi- ty nanofab based in North America. As part of the cooperation, Cornell staff will perform research using SUSS lithography equipment, including enhanced contact aligner tool sets and a Gamma spray coater. The research and development facilities at CNF, which hosts up to 700 users annually, will also serve SUSS MicroTec as a support lab for research applica- tions and customer demonstrations. The new equip- ment is expected to become available to users early in 2011.
