Sun Country puts Midwest in reach Sun Country Airlines is to offer
direct flights from London-Gatwick to the twin cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul from May 28. The twice-weekly service to the Midwest will take UK travellers straight to Bloomington’s Mall of America, a multi-entertainment complex that features over 520 shops, 50 restaurants, Nickelodeon Universe, Underwater Adventures Aquarium and several other family attractions. There is no sales tax on clothing and shoes in Minnesota.

Dali masterpiece opens in St Pete The St. Petersburg/Clearwater
area has opened its newest cultural icon. The 'new' Dali Museum is a 66,450-sq ft facility that was 14 years in the making. Located in downtown St. Pete, the
attraction is more than twice the size of the former museum and contains 50 per cent more gallery space, which will be used to display both
temporary exhibitions and its permanent collection of 96 oil paintings (including eight masterworks), 125 drawings and watercolors, 2,500 prints and photographs, 250 objets d’art, and a 5,000-book library. Admission is $21 for adults, and $7 for children 6-12.
