Silversea gets culinary
BY JO AUSTIN Eight of Silversea’s 2011 voyages
will feature a Relais & Châteaux L'École des Chefs interactive cooking school. The courses will highlight the culinary flavour of the ship’s itinerary and will be masterminded by Silversea’s own culinary trainer, David Bilsland. When the itinerary permits guests will
be invited to enjoy a ‘Market to the Plate’ experience that provides an escorted tour of a local market followed by a cooking class and a ‘culinary outing’ to a local restaurant. Silversea’s 2012 brochure features
over 200 voyages visiting 450 destinations. New destinations include Santander, Spain; Porto Novo, Cape Verde; Larnaca, Cyprus; Kuwait City; Sihanoukville Cambodia; Christiansted, St. Croix; and Ireland's Foynes and Killybegs. Silver Whisper will also undertake a 115-day world cruise.
