Applications invited
Take it away is an Arts Council England initiative designed to encourage greater participation in music by providing interest free loans to individuals for the purchase of musical instruments.
The scheme is run in partnership with Moneyway and operates through a network of approved musical instrument retailers across England. Applications are now invited from retailers wishing to register as members of the scheme for 2011/12.
Membership of the scheme is open to retailers of musical instruments based in England only. Please note that with effect from 1 April 2011, new customer criteria apply and the scheme will be made available exclusively to applicants between the ages of 18 – 25 years old.

The deadline for receipt of completed applications is 5.00pm Friday 4 February 2011 after which no further applications will be considered for participation in the scheme during 2011/12.
