Overall Highlights


• Community building initiative projects at Natimuk, laharum and Dadswells Bridge


• $10 million secured for the Town Hall and Art gallery redevelopment • introduction of a supported playgroup at Haven


• 98% of Home and Community Care (HACC) clients happy with the quality of services provided


• Building of children’s playground at Horsham North


• Positive feedback from the Bushfire Royal Commission report for Council’s emergency management response to the Black Saturday fire


• Remlaw fire recovery and development of emergency management and recovery processes and procedures


• Establishment of Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee • immunisation coverage rate of 95% • gold sponsorship of the Awakenings regional disability festival • Major sponsor of the Art is...Festival


• Community Development Framework to guide Council’s future community development
