Climate Hire launches latest Phoen
Climate Hire and Sales, the specialist heating division of Hire Station, has introduced a new dual voltage model called the Phoen 110. The propane fired indirect heater can be used to supply ducted heat over distances of up to 50m and comes with a heavy-duty support kit comprising a handle, trolley and wheels. The company says that the machine, being dual voltage, gives hirers another option for supplying customers who have applications where diesel fired heaters would not be suitable.The Phoen 110 is being built in Italy exclusively for Climate Hire.

Thermobile UK’s range of warm air space heaters appropriate for the hire market includes two versions of indirect oil fired heaters, in the form of the ITA and IMA series. Models in the former range have built-in fuel tanks capable of running for 15 hours continuously on a single tank of fuel. Three units are available with heat capacities of 25, 45 and 70kW. The IMA series operate from a separate fuel tank and are available
in seven versions covering heat outputs from 65-185kW. All have radial fans providing up to 15,000m3
of airflow. Complementing
the mobile models are two containerised units. The IMAC 2000S and IMAC 4000E offer outputs of 185kW and 383kW gross heat capacities and heated airflows of 12,000 and 24,000m3 per hour. Also available are direct fired oil heaters supplied in 19, 25, 46 and 93kW versions, with the latter two models also available in 110V format. Thermobile also supplies portable and
mobile direct-fired propane heaters, which are dual voltage machines available in 29, 38, 57 and 81kW. Outside the UK, the company reports growing demand in Eastern Europe and central Asia, with the heaters being used particularly in the oil and gas industries, especially on pipeline construction.The most popular units for this sector are the IMA and IMAC series, which are also used in the event hire industry and general construction.
