The Hut Group promotes Jasper New biz dev role for marketing chief  Namco’s Fitzsimmons joins Sony  Lunch accounts team expands


THE HUT  SARAH JASPER has been promoted to head of business development. Jasper (pictured) joined The Hut last summer as product marketing manager for games. She will recruit two product marketers and be responsible for the firm’s growth in existing and emerging channels.


“This is an excellent and welcomed opportunity for me to continue to grow the games and product marketing category across our portfolio, as well as lead the


development in new product sectors like health and beauty, fashion and more,” says Jasper.

SONY  MARLENE FITZSIMMONS has joined the PlayStation team as UK product manager.


She takes responsibility for


Sony’s kids and family games portolio, handling key brands such as EyePet and the upcoming LittleBigPlanet 2. Fitzsimmons joined the games industry as PR executive for D3Publisher, where she rose to become marketing and PR executive. She retained a similar position when D3P was acquired by Namco Bandai Partners, where she stayed on with the team for almost a year.


LUNCH  The PR agency has announced two new additions to its accounts team.


SEAN BAMBERGER (above


right) takes up the role of account assistant, and will work with clients including Ignition and Team 17. Meanwhile, SAJ ISMAEL


(above left) has been named account manager, and will be a


member of the teams handling Def Jam Rapstar and Virgin Gaming. He also takes over the Ask Men account. “With an A-list stable of clients and award-winning team, it’s been an absolute honour joining the infamous Lunch PR crew,” said Ismael. Bamberger added: “Lunch has award-winning staff that are dedicated to their client base.” The hires coincide with that


of STUART TAYLOR (pictured middle), who joins as a consultant. Taylor said: “I am delighted to be joining the creative and passionate team at Lunch.”
