NBP appoints new UK PR exec  Lunch hires Stuart Taylor  Frank names Activision senior account manager HANSOFT 


NAMCO BANDAI  PETER OLIVER has been appointed as NBP’s new UK PR executive. He started earlier this week and will be the company’s main specialist contact for titles such as Test Drive Unlimited 2, Splatterhouse and The Witcher 2. Oliver spent five years at Indigo Pearl, where he held the position of PR account manager and assisted with the launch of titles for Namco Bandai, Square Enix and more. “Peter is a passionate guy with a huge enthusiasm for games,” said marketing and PR manager Lee Kirton.


LUNCH PR  STUART TAYLOR has started his new role at Lunch PR this


week as PR consultant. He joins Lunch after ending his three-year stint at Barrington Harvey, where he held the position of PR Account Director. Prior to this, he worked as group editor for Uncooked Media.

FRANK PR  After three years at The Red Consultancy, STACEY PINKUS has moved to Frank PR.


She takes up the role of senior account manager and


will be working on a range of upcoming Activision titles. Pinkus previously worked as senior account executive for The Red Consultancy, where she handled a variety of brands, including Nintendo and Microsoft.


She said: “I am really looking forward to joining the Activision account at Frank. Activision is one of the world’s leading games publishers and I feel privileged to be joining the team. “The portfolio of titles I’ll be working across as part of the account are very diverse and I look forward to the challenges and exciting times ahead.”


MICHAEL WYNNE has joined as a user interface engineer at


Hansoft’s Sweden office. Wynne began his career in the games industry as lead tools programmer for The Darkness developer Starbreeze. After three years at this firm, he left to co-found Machinegames.


BEST BUY  The head of Best Buy’s entertainment domain in the UK, MARC SPENCE, has left the firm.


The former GAME exec is moving abroad to work in the Middle East.
