was still slow going. As the racing fl eet came down the east passage and the cruising class got closer to the fi nish, the weather really took a turn for the worst. The rain that we had dodged, for the most part, decide to show up for a fi nal hurrah and everyone got wet, to say the least.


I think this year’s race was a success


with no protests, no broken boats and everyone fi nishing. After the race the racers gathered on the TYC guest dock for the after-race gathering and storytelling. Thanks to the racers for participating and thanks to the Race Committee for putting it all together.
