“BODY ART” with Neil Roth
Airbrush face painting is catch- ing on fast with temporary tattoo painters. Its much faster than us- ing sponge and brush and even faster with a few stencils. Here we will show you how to do a princess or butterfly face in just a few minutes. This is Taylor our model for this
how-to. We will be using Trendy Tribal’s Metallic Frost water based make up; this face paint gives a shinny look instead of the usual flat look.
Now you see the design as done with the two part stencil on the left side of Taylors face; no- tice how striking the colors are.
We will be using a two part stencil for this design, stencil part one I have positioned on our model and sprayed yellow first followed by pink and fi- nally blue.You can see the sec- ond part of the stencil taped to the first part, for true align- ment of both stencils all you have to do is flip the second part over.
Here we are doing the right side of Taylor’s face and for this side we have another double stencil set. We have al- ready done the first part and are ready to paint the second part of the stencil.
Here is the finished Princess/butterfly face. I have added white dots to the black and a small design to Taylor’s forehead.
Taylor’s mother helps by holding the stencil in place while I spray the black. For this type of stencil it helps to have an extra pair of hands available.
Airbrushes used are the Vega 2000, make up used is Me- tallic Frost from Trendy Tribal’s sprayed at 10psi.In doing this design you will need two sets of stencils, one set for each side. Visit Neil’s website
