What makes your website unique? Many reasons – firstly we have a very easy and friendly website. We stock a variety of titles and are getting good response in our first year of trading. We use our Facebook page to communicate with our customers showing them trailers of upcoming releases, making Propel Gamer a community. We have our own newsletter to tell our customers of upcoming titles and special offers. We also respond immediately to emails and make sure each customer is happy with the service we provide.


What is your biggest challenge? To be respected in the gaming industry and seen as a safe place to shop by customers. We want to be seen as a provider of good service and not overshadowed by bigger retailers.


What do you think will be the biggest selling game of the summer? Why? Without doubt it will be Super Mario Galaxy 2. It’s a game which can be played

What do you think about publishers charging pre-owned buyers for DLC? As a gamer I think that it is wrong for the publishers charging pre-owned


consumers for online functionality. But from a business perspective it’s a good idea and the use of DLC makes people want to go back and play the game. However the cost is really high and should be lowered to a reasonable rate. The Modern Warfare 2 DLC costs 1200 Microsoft Points for five maps, which is too high.
