Boaters will have new incentive to

visit fifteen marinas located throughout South and Central Puget Sound this summer and fall, with the new Passport

to Puget Sound program. The program is

designed to keep sailors in the South and Central Puget Sound, instead of straying north to the San Juans. If you visit several of the marinas and get your “passport” stamped, you may qualify for some great prizes that will have you setting a course for the participating marinas. Prizes include hotel accommodations, restaurant vouchers, event tickets, boat services, etc.

March 1, pick up your Passport to Puget Sound at any of the fifteen participating marinas, and you’re ready to sail. The passport is like a bingo card with one square for each marina. If you stay overnight at any of

the participating marinas you get your passport stamped. Once a row of four marinas is completed, vertical, horizontal or diagonal, you’ll get a free T-shirt. But the big prizes are for the first fifteen sailors to visit all fifteen marinas and get their passports stamped: there are 15 grand prizes valued up to $500, including free moorage, restaurant meals, luxury hotel stays, Mariners tickets, boat cleaning, and day spa visits. The program ends December 31, 2010.

All fifteen marinas are coming

up with exciting prizes. Here are a few of the prize highlights that have been pledged at the date of this

writing. Note: this is not a final list of prizes. For latest updates go to: www.settleboatshow.com and click on Passport to Puget Sound.
