1 Cut two 3” lengths of 20 gauge copper wire and form a wrapped loop at one end of each wire.
2 string a copper headpin with a 3mm copper round bead, a copper pearl, a green pearl, a copper pearl, and a 3mm copper round
bead and create a wrapped loop.
3 Cut one 22” and three 23” lengths of beading wire. On the 22” wire, string a crimp tube, a 3mm round bead, and the wrapped
loop from one of the wires created in step 1. Thread the wire back through the 3mm bead and the crimp tube and crimp. Trim
excess wire and string a 3mm round bead. Repeat with the three 23” lengths of beading wire.
4 On the 22” wire string a bead cap, a turquoise bead, a bead cap, a green pearl, a copper pearl, and a green pearl. Repeat pattern
12 times. finish with a bead cap, a turquoise bead, a bead cap, a 3mm round bead, a crimp tube, and a 3mm round bead. secure
with a bead stopper.
5 On one 23” length of wire, string three champagne pearls and a spacer bead. Repeat pattern 17 times. finish with three
champagne pearls, a 3mm round bead, a crimp tube, and a 3mm round bead. secure with a bead stopper.
6 On one of the remaining wires, string a champagne pearl, a green pearl, two copper pearls, a green pearl, two copper pearls, and
a green pearl. Repeat pattern 11 times. finish with a champagne pearl, a 3mm round bead, a crimp tube, and a 3mm round
bead. secure with a bead stopper.
7 On the remaining wire string three green pearls and a copper tube bead. Repeat pattern 15 times. finish with three green pearls,
a 3mm round bead, a crimp tube, and a 3mm round bead. secure with a bead stopper.
8 string the copper wire with the beaded strands with a copper cone bead and a 6mm round bead. form a wrapped loop,
connecting it to an 8mm jumpring.
9 Lay the green pearl copper tube strand up and out of the way for now. Let the turquoise strand hang straight down. Braid the
champagne pearl spacer strand and the mixed pearl strand loosely around the turquoise strand. Adjust tension until all three
strands fall to an even length. Connect all three strands to the wrapped loop from the second copper wire from step 1. string
each wire through the loop, down through the 3mm bead, the crimp tube, and the second 3mm bead. Adjust tension, crimp,
and trim excess wire.
10 Take the green pearl copper tube strand and wrap loosely around the braid until it is even and then connect to the copper wire
loop. string a copper cone and a 6mm copper bead and form a wrapped loop, connecting it to an 8mm jumpring.
11 Attach six chain links to the 8mm jumpring on one side of the necklace. using a 6mm jumpring, attach the beaded headpin from
step 2 to the end of the chain. Attach one chain link to the 8mm jumpring on the opposite side and attach a hook clasp.
12 Cut a 12” length of beading wire and string 62 copper pearls. Wrap a light brown carved jade donut at the center of necklace
with the ends of the wire meeting in the back. string a crimp tube on one wire and bring the end of the other wire through the
crimp tube in the opposite direction. Adjust tension, crimp, and cover with crimp cover. Trim excess wire.
