Altered Dress Form by Cheryl Kelly-Van Domelen
1 Paint a dress form with pink craft paint. Paint
the pedestal with gold craft paint.
2 Wrap pink tissue paper soaked in Mod Podge
over the dress form, creating “wrinkles” for a
realistic look. Cover area with Cotton Candy
Stickles to make it sparkle and shine.
3 Add pink sequins onto the bodice of the dress
form. outline the edges of the neck and arms
with Gold Stickles.
4 To make the train, cut a piece of a white t-shirt
to desired shape and length and pin to the dress
form. Pin on approximately 200 individual rose
petals to the train.
5 String seed beads and glass beads into a long
“belt” for the dress form. Secure the ends and
connect to the dress form using glue dots. Place
a flower cluster where the belt criss-crosses.
6 Attach lace ribbon at the base of the train and
at the sleeves. Add self adhesive pearls down the
back of the dress form.
7 Tie a charm to a string of pearls and attach to the
neck of the dress form with glue dots.
