This beautiful design is perfect
for that New year’s Eve party
and is meant to be worn with the
toggle clasp at the side. Either the
single strand or double strand can
be worn at the front.
1 Cut a length of 20 gauge sterling silver round wire and make a wrapped loop. String an 11mm Bali bead and make a wrapped
loop.
2 Cut a length of beading wire and string a Twisted Tornado crimp bead, a 4.5mm bead cap, and one of the wrapped loops
created in step 1. Thread the wire back through the bead cap and the crimp bead and crimp.
3 String a 4.5mm bead cap, a 10x14mm twisted black onyx oval, and two 4.5mm bead caps. Repeat this pattern until 22 bead
caps and 10 onyx ovals have been added to the strand.
4 String a Twisted Tornado crimp bead, a 4.5mm bead cap, and the ring end of a toggle clasp. Thread the wire back through the
bead cap and the crimp bead and the last few beads in the design and crimp. Trim excess wire.
5 Cut a length of beading wire and string a Twisted Tornado crimp bead, a 4.5mm bead cap, and the wrapped loop on the other
side of the Bali bead link created in step 1. Thread the wire back through the bead cap and the crimp bead and crimp. String
beads in the pattern shown or as desired until the desired length is achieved. String a Twisted Tornado crimp bead, a 4.5mm
bead cap, and the bar end of the toggle clasp. Thread the wire back through the crimp bead and the last few beads in the design
and crimp. Trim excess wire.
6 Cut six pieces of chain three links each and set aside.
7 Cut a length of 22 gauge sterling silver round wire and make a wrapped loop, connecting it to the bar end of the toggle clasp.
String a 4mm onyx round bead and make a wrapped loop, connecting it to the last link in one of the cut pieces of chain.
8 Repeat step 7 connecting the first wrapped loop to the end of the previously connected chain. String beads as shown and
connect the last wrapped loop to another length of chain.
9 Repeat step 8 until all six lengths of chain have been added to the design. Connect the last wrapped loop to the wrapped loop
on the Bali bead link created in step 1.
