The Sports Centre is the main focal point for activity on the University Campus.
The Centre is also the administrative base for the Sport & Physical Activity
Service.
MAIN CAMPUS SPORTS CENTRE (No.1 ON THE MAP)
Sports Hall 1
NEW THIS YEAR - Re-painted and new lighting to
International competition standard.
This large indoor space is capable of holding major events
and can accommodate most sports including football, netball,
basketball, trampolining and korfball.
Sports Hall 2
A 4 badminton court hall, with a sprung floor ideal for badminton and volleyball as
well as being able to accommodate many other sports and activities.
Sports Hall 3
Multipurpose hall with a sprung floor, used for active classes, martial arts, fencing
and a variety of activities.
Climbing Wall
* This facility will re-open in Spring 2010.

Table Tennis Room
This multipurpose room is used predominantly for table tennis but can also be
booked for specialist group activities.
Outdoor 5-a-side football court
Very popular floodlit and fenced synthetic turf 5-a-side pitch on campus.
Therapy Room
A treatment room used for physiotherapy and sports massage.
