Sports User Card Membership (SUC)
The University offers an unrivalled range of facilities and services detailed in this
handbook located right on your doorstep on campus. From as little as £53 a year
you can take advantage of all that’s on offer.
Casual Usage
If you don’t buy the Sports User Card membership you can still access the facilities
at a cost of £4 per visit.
Making a booking
Bookings can be taken up to two weeks in advance for all of our facilities. Contact
one of our main receptions (numbers below). For grass pitches and the Outdoor

Opening Hours
Sports Centre: 0113 343 5095
Monday – Friday: 8am – 10pm
Weekends: 9.30am – 5.30pm
Cromer Terrace Fitness Studio: 0113 343 5094
Monday – Friday: 7.35am – 10pm
Weekends: 9.30am – 5pm
Gryphon Sports Centre: 0113 343 6771
Monday – Friday: 9am – 10pm
Weekends: 11am – 8pm

Weetwood Playing Fields: 0113 275 1347
The Weetwood Playing Fields are open all day on Wednesday, Saturday and
Sunday (8.30am onwards). On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday the
facilities are open from early afternoon to 10pm, with extended opening hours
during the summer term.
