studentsports
clubs and activities
The University Union is responsible for the administration and management of the
student club activities. These clubs are run for students by students and present
a great way for you not only to get active but also to get involved, to improve your
skills and help run student sport.
Committing to a sports club can be an excellent way to enable you to realise your
potential, performing for the University in the British Universities & Colleges Sport
(BUCS) national competitions or in local leagues.
It’s easy to join
Joining sports clubs in Leeds University Union is a quick and easy process.
Visit the Sports and Activites Fayre on 22 and 23 September at the Sports
Centre to speak with club captains and members of the committee.
Alternatively you can check out the website or the notice boards
situated on the first floor of the Union building to find out about
meetings, trials, training and events.
Many of our sports teams take part in the annual Varsity
competition against Leeds Met and this year the event will take
place on October 7.
