Injury Clinic
The Injury Clinic comprises two services – Physiotherapy and Sports Massage.
The two services work closely together to ensure the best treatment is given to the
individual, from diagnosis to rehabilitation and prevention of further injuries.

Personal Training
By training with a Personal Trainer, you will not only experience one to one tuition
on exercises specifically focussed on your fitness goals, but will carry out thorough
postural, flexibility lifestyle and functional assessments to ensure that you are
shown and taught all that you need to look after your body now and in the future to
ensure you stay fit and healthy for life.
Body MOTs
Your car gets an MOT, but what about your body? We offer a mini health check
which includes blood pressure, % body fat and cholesterol test. Advice on healthy
living and making lifestyle changes can also be given.
Healthy Week
Healthy Week is a University & LUU initiative, aiming to encourage both staff and
students to discover new ways of improving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle &
state of mind. This year’s event will start on the week commencing 1st February
2010 – watch out for many new activities!
Campus Walks
If jogging, gyms and fancy sports gear isn’t for you, one of the easiest ways to lose
weight, avoid illness, improve your brainpower and generally have more energy
is to take a daily walk. Details on lunchtime guided walks around campus can be
found on the web, as well as some sample walks for you to take individually.
