Groundwater Committee application info here
The Anza Area Groundwater Steering Committee is accepting application forms for membership at:
https://sites.google.com/site/anzawatermgt/ updatesapplytoserveonthegroundwatersteeringcommittee.
The Committee will be comprised of 11-15 members from the Anza Area. The Committee will provide responsible
balanced representation of groundwater interests for the community. This is a working committee; they will develop ground rules to guide the committee as it seeks funding and leads/provides advice on local groundwater management planning.
This committee is voluntary and not compensated for time or expenses.
The
Committee itself has no involvement in water rights.
Application forms are to be submitted to Daniel Cozad:
dcozad@intpln.com by February 29, 2012. From these applications a slate of representatives will be proposed for review and consideration at the next AVMAC meeting in March.
Ideal
candidates are collaborative, interested in the future of the community, have strong community connections and may have experience useful to the committee’s work.
