NEWS & NOTES

ACHA membership meeting July 19!

There’s a vacant chair on the Anza Community Hall Association’s Board of Directors and it’s going to get filled with a special election at the upcoming Quarterly Membership meeting at the Hall on July 19 at 7pm. If you’re interested in becoming a board member, contact ACHA President Annie Ashby at 763-1606.

The open board position will complete a term, so the length of service will be from July 19 until October of 2012, a sixteen month stint. All current members and those wishing to become dues-paying members of ACHA are invited to attend, participate and, by all means, vote. Annual membership dues are $20 per family, $35 for businesses.

In addition to the election, the ACHA Board will also hold a discussion about sponsoring a Community Services District for the communities of Anza, Aguanga and Mountain Center.

Karaoke Cancer Benefit

For a measly $7.50 attendees get an all-you-can- eat pizza and spaghetti dinner and all the karaoke you can stomach. As Tonie says, “Enjoy the music and the food; it’s for a good cause.”
