Frank is an extremely
passionate educator. He is committed to making sure his students have the opportunity to become great leaders. Frank goes above and beyond in his responsibilities as a teacher. He oversees the Associated Student Body class and he is the advisor for our school yearbook. He is a presence at almost all of the school functions and is the first one to say, “What can I do to help?” We are so fortunate to have him at Hamilton K-8. You rock, Mr. Luna!

Hamilton High Teacher of the Year Jennifer Halstead Jennifer is a key member of our mathematics department and a tremendous asset to the teaching ranks at Hamilton High School. She is a dedicated instructor who provides students with guidance, support and
encouragement as they tackle the curriculum. In addition to serving
students in the classroom, Jennifer also volunteers many hours of her personal time as the sponsor of the sophomore class and participates in fund raising efforts and class projects. She also regularly collaborates with her colleagues on issues critical to student success and participates in the after-hours tutorial program.
Jennifer continues to grow as an educator through voluntary participation in professional development activities designed to better meet the needs of students in her charge. “I only wish I had a few more like her”…It is with great pleasure and honor that I congratulate Jennifer Halstead as the 2012 Teacher of the Year from Hamilton High School.
Hamilton High Classified Employee of the Year Debra Nevills
Debra has served at Hamilton for the past eleven years and is a well known and respected member of both the Bobcat community as well as the community of Anza.
“She is truly a
breath of fresh air every morning when I arrive.” If I were to describe Debra, I would use terms such as “hard working”,
“dedicated”, “student centered”, and “genuine”. Her positive attitude is infectious and her glass is almost completely full...
Debra served as the attendance clerk and is charged with the maintenance of our entire attendance system and must align with state, county, and district guidelines, which are many. She too has chosen to volunteer many hours of her time in service to our school and community. There are times when I have to remind her that she has a husband at home as she is reluctant to leave work if any small detail is left unattended. A true gem among our talented and devoted staff, I congratulate Debra for being selected as our 2012 Classified Employee of the Year from Hamilton High School.
