Kindles now support library e-books! Visit
www.carlsbadlibrary.org and click on “Library e-book collection” to browse the titles online. Have your library card available and download your choice. You can also place a hold if your chosen e-book is checked out and receive an email when it’s ready to download.

Classes Include: Basic Internet if you have little or no Internet experience. Internet Searching Tips & Tricks Learn search strategies and time-saving tricks and tips for online research. E-mail Set up a free e-mail account and send messages. Beginning Word 2007 Create and edit documents. MS Office Basics Briefly explore MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet Explorer. Social Networking Learn how to connect with family and friends, promote your business or share images, video and more.
Resume Writing This workshop provides a step-by-step process using templates to help create an effective resume.
Online job applications Go through the process of filling out an online job application. Special topics include Excel and filling out forms online.
Volunteer computer tutors also provide one-on-one help with e-mail, Internet, MS Word and/or MS Office.
