Oriental Sumi-e Painting This unique, ancient art form utilizes specialized painting techniques handed down from one Japanese Master to another through the centuries. Artists use rice paper, sumi-e ink, ink stone and brushes. Sumi-e painting is characterized by the use of fundamental brush strokes based on simple lines and dots. Materials not included.
